Good menu design sells

Invest on good menu design and increase your response rate. Bad design can harm your business

Good menu design sells but bad design or even average design may damage your business more than you might care to think.
Investing at least one third of your marketing budget in some decent and effective artwork would give you good result. It’s not about how many items you distribute , but it’s about how many responses you get through it.

The Design Council conducted a national survey of firms and identified those where the use of design had made a direct impact on a number of measures, such as competitiveness, market share and turnover. They called these businesses “design alert”. We put their finding below:

  • Almost half of all UK businesses believe that, over the past decade, design has become more important in helping them maintain a competitive edge.
  • Businesses that see design as integral don’t need to compete on price as much as others. Where design is integral, less than half of businesses compete mainly on price, compared to two thirds of those who don’t use design.
